The Holy Face

The Holy Face is a fragile veil, it’s undulating horizontal threads are of a simple structure, the warp and weft of the fabric interlace in a normal weave.

The measurement of the cloth is 17 x 24 cm. and the image is one of a male face with long hair and a beard divided into bands. It is the only case in the world in which the image is identically visible from both sides.

Location

The villa is in an enviable position, at the edge of the Maiella National Park and near the Abruzzo National Park, only at 15 km from the mountains and 30 km from the sea.

Near the Villa it is possible to have sports (mountain bike, canoe, fishing, golf, tennis) and suggestive walks also in the natural reserves in the Orta and Orfento valleys, where Celestine monasteries rise.
